Backbends are at the heart of yoga. Why? Because the process of backbending alters the flow of your cerebrospinal fluid and moves your spine in directions radically different from everyday motions, giving you a new perspective. It’s said that you can determine the age of the human through the health and mobility of the spine. But, backbending takes technique, skill, and patience over time. In this workshop, we’ll explore what’s required to backbend safely, and with increasingly pleasing results, for a lifetime.

Forrest-Inspired Vinyasa Play Class
Erica cut her teeth in NYC teaching 90-minute classes of this style. They are fun, challenging, and always workshop-like. You’ll chant a little, move a lot, sweat for sure, enjoy an uplifting playlist, and learn a ton. It takes the best of Ashtanga, Forrest, and Vinyasa and puts them together in an incredibly satisfying mix that had my classes packed for years. Come and you’ll leave on an epic yoga high.
