Weekend of Diverse Workshop Classes

July 7-9


Friday, July 7 at 5:00 pm:    Bikram + Workshop

For this workshop we will fly through a 75 min Bikram class and after the class we will spend time workshopping some of the postures from the sequence.  A main focus will be working on Half Moon Backbend and how to find stability and depth through proper rotation of the legs, arms and pelvis. Using Anusara alignment techniques, students will learn how to find depth in an effortless and pain-free way!

Saturday, July 8 at 9:00 am:    Hatha15

This is a very slow and meditative class which will focus on the 15 most important basic hatha yoga postures.  Each posture is held for a few minutes and there is a savasana after every pose.  The class is an absolute treat for your body and mind and is great for beginner and advanced students alike.

Saturday, July 8 at 3:00 pm:     Satsang & Meditation

Jared will give a lecture on the Kleshas, which are the obstacles to enlightenment, and will discuss different aspects of the yoga practice. Students are encouraged to ask questions during the lecture!  We will close with a delicious meditation.

Sunday, July 9 at 9:00 am:     JM Vinyasa & Backbending

This class will be a fun and dynamic JM Vinyasa class, which is a mix of Bikram and ashtanga postures.  The class will focus on working toward intermediate backbending postures such as full cobra, wheel variations, helpful back strengthening exercises, and scorpions.  This class is open to all levels but geared more for intermediate students.
